Sarangan Lake, also known as Telaga Pasir, is a natural lake which is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level and is located on the slopes of Mount Lawu, Plaosan District, Magetan Regency, East Java. This lake is about 16 kilometers west of Magetan City. This lake is about 30 hectares wide and 28 meters deep. With temperatures between 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Sarangan Lake is able to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Telaga Sarangan also has a service boat and water rickshaw rental services. There are 51 motor boats and 13 water rickshaws that can be used to explore the lake.
